The man behind Girls Gone Wild has finally tied the knot! Yep, Joe Francis is married. Believe it or not he married CBS News showbiz reporter Christina McLarty.

The adult moviemaker has enjoyed an on/off relationship with the CBS News showbiz reporter for four years and they sealed their romance by exchanging vows over the weekend, according to TMZ.com.

The pair married in a civil ceremony at Francis’ estate in Punta Mita, Mexico, in protest of U.S. laws banning gay marriage.

It all sounds good except for the part in bold. There’s nothing worse than phony fucking celebrity protests over gay marriage. Why can’t Joe just get married and shut the fuck up. Why does everything have to be political?

A new tell-all book from a former Girls Gone Wild employee is makes some pretty wild claims. Ryan Simkin, a former cameraman for Girls Gone Wild, says Joe Francis one sent a cigarette pack full of coke and ecstasy to Paris Hilton who was on her way to Europe. Since she was flying commercial she stashed the cigarette pack in her pussy to beat airport security.

The book does sound intriguing. Simkin spent 5 years on the road with GGW as a cameraman. So you can imagine the kind of shit he witnessed over that time. Who’s to say whether he’s being totally honest about what he saw or if he’s exaggerating to sell books.

As for the Paris Hilton claim, I’m a little skeptical. It’s certainly plausible that she stashed drugs in her pussy, but why would she need to do that? It’s hard to believe Paris couldn’t get all the coke and tabs she wanted one she was in Europe. The circles that she runs in no doubt have easy access to the drug of your choice.

Secondly, Paris is many things but she’s never struck me as a hardcore drug addict. There’s just not any evidence that she’s into drugs all that much. She’s sure as shit no Lindsay Lohan.

The Paris story seems a little too convenient. It’s exactly the kind of salacious piece of gossip the media loves.

Anyway, the book is called FLASH! Bars, Boobs, and Busted: 5 Years on the Road with Girls Gone Wild.

Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis was sentenced today to time served and a year of probation for filing false tax returns.

The Feds brought a huge tax evasion case against Francis a couple of years ago, but on the eve of the trial the government’s case fell apart and the whole thing turned into one big clusterfuck.

Apparently, Joe’s former accountant who was to be the government’s witness admitted that he was behind the tax fraud and had falsely implicated Joe. At least I think that’s what happened.

The details are so complicated it makes your head nearly blow off after reading only a few minutes of it.

I’ve always been a pretty vocal supporter of Joe’s in the past. I respect his hustle for taking a simple idea like Girls Gone Wild and turning it into an empire.

However, the recent surveillance footage of him beating the shit out of Playboy model Jayde Nicole in a nightclub is inexcusable. Yeah, she poured a drink on him, but the way he reacted was outrageous.

I’ve tended to be a fairly vocal defender of Joe Francis over the years. As a businessman I can’t help but admire Joe’s genius for starting Girls Gone Wild. It was an amazingly simple idea that has earned Joe hundreds of millions of dollars.

That said, I can’t defend him on this one. In case you didn’t hear, Joe was thrown out of a club a couple of weeks ago after allegedly punching former Playboy model Jayde Nicole. Nicole says she poured a drink on Francis when he wouldn’t stop hitting on her friend.

Obviously, it’s bullshit to pour drinks on people, but Jayde claims Joe responded by punching her in the face and kicking her.

I was skeptical of this claim initially, but now the surveillance tape is out and it’s pretty damning. Whether or not Jayde poured a drink on Joe is irrelevant at this point. What matters is how Joe reacted.

First of all, Joe denies the whole thing. He says Jayde poured a drink on him, and all he did in response was pull her hair.

Joe tells us he was hanging out with the General Manager for Guys and Dolls when Jayde Nicole pushed him from behind and poured a drink on him.
Joe says he turned around and pulled her hair in reaction to the attack. Francis says this is the only contact he made with Jayde…

Suffice it to say, hair pulling is a pussy move for a guy to use on a girl (assuming no sex is involved of course).

The new magazine will be based on the pop-culture video phenomenon, Girls Gone Wild videos, will start out as a bimonthly and debut April 15.

Girls Gone Wild Magazine editors plan pictorials and content featuring the company’s tours and events. The magazine also plans a DVD outsert with every issue.

It should be interesting to see how a GGW magazine turns out from a financial perspective. I’m sure it will no doubt be a good magazine, but circulation of every print publication both mainstream and adult has been in steady decline in recent years. PANAMA CITY, Fla. — Trouble just seems to find Joe Francis. Two women who allege that sexually explicit footage was released without their consent on two DVDs are suing the “Girls Gone Wild” founder in federal court.

Brooke Pastolic and Christina Brose allege that they were enticed aboard the Girls Gone Wild bus and plied with free apparel and drinks, even though both girls were under 21. According to the lawsuit, both women allege they were coerced into exposing themselves and engaging in sexual acts after being promised the footage would not be used for commercial purposes.

While Pastolic and Brose claim they did not consent to be filmed, even if they did, due to their inebriated state, their consent was obtained illegally.

The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages.

Francis is currently jailed in Nevada on federal tax evasion charges. Francis pled not guilty in that case but elected to stay in jail to avoid extradition to Florida, to avoid arrest on charges of possessing contraband and drugs while being imprisoned there in May.

Exacerbating Francis’ legal woes, he’s also charged in Florida with using minors in sexual performances and prostitution.

Kevin Mercuri, Fracis’ spokesman, did not immediately return a message from XBIZ seeking comment.

I returned to my cell the other day after a leisurely walk through the Washoe County Detention Center yard and received a message from Deputy Keast, the Public Information Officer, that you had called. To be honest, I was hoping that my penpal, Candy Spelling, had written me again, but to my dismay I was told that you just wanted to know how I felt about Paris being released from jail early. I was then handed a TMZ.com article titled “American I-Cons”. I just thought since I seem to have some extra time on my hands these days that I would like to take a moment to set the record straight.

The “American I-Cons” title is a very clever play on words, but unlike in Paris’s current situation, the title does not apply to me. I am not in jail because I have been CONvicted of a crime, but am merely awaiting a chance to vindicate myself.Paris’s early release from jail did not surprise me, nor unfortunately, did her return to jail a day later. My heart goes out to Paris, not only because I consider her a friend, but because I have experienced first hand that incarceration is not set up for high-profile people. In my experience to date, when jail personnel are told to give no special treatment to an individual because of who they are, it normally results in them getting far worse treatment. I must however tell you that this has not been my experience at the Washoe County Detention Center, where my treatment has been fair and where the staff is very considerate. However, the stark reality that I’ve encountered in the five previous facilities I’ve been in is that celebrities are segregated from other inmates, and it can be quite a lonely existence with no human contact. It seems as though Paris is seeing this first hand now that she’s been sent back to jail to serve her original 45 day sentence. If her name was Jane Doe and everything else in the case remained unchanged, she would never have served a day in jail. As Los Angeles County Sheriff Baca said on Friday: “The special treatment appears to be her celebrity status. She got more time in jail.” I empathize with Paris, because I believe I too would not still be in jail were it not for my “high profile status.”

If I really want to splurge, I may order a Powerbar or two for dessert.

This “free time” thing took me by surprise. I would love to know who gave you the information that I’m out of my cell 8 hours a day. It’s probably more like half that. It is during this time that I have the fortunate privilege of meeting new “friends” such as car thieves, drug dealers and murderers. It should make for an interesting night at HYDE when the “gang” and I get back together for a reunion.

I have faced far worse things in the past and I am confident that I will prevail again.
