Max Hardcore Indicted on Obscenity Charges

ALTADENA, Calif. — Paul F. Little, aka Max Hardcore, has been indicted on federal obscenity charges. The Justice Department charged Little with numerous counts of obscenity.

The 10-count indictment was returned against Little on May 17 and was unsealed yesterday.

The charges originate out of Florida, but Hardcore turned himself into authorities in California, WNBC in New York reported. The case is based in Florida because Little’s production company, Max World Entertainment, mailed DVDs there.

WNBC reported that in addition to the mailing of allegedly obscene material, Little also is being charged with transmitting five allegedly obscene video clips over the Internet via the company’s website. According to WNBC, federal prosecutors said they are “seeking forfeiture of the ‘obscene’ films, all money made from sales of the films and all property used in the making of the films, including [Hardcore’s] home in Altadena, Calif.”

Authorities also are seeking the forfeiture of the sites MaxHardcore.com, PissedOnPornStars.com and CatalinaXXX.com.

The DVD titles named in the indictment are “Max Hardcore Extreme 20 – Euro Edition,” “Pure Max 19 – Euro Edition,” “Max Hardcore Golden Guzzlers 7 – Euro Edition,” “Fists of Fury 4 – Euro Edition” and “Planet Max 16 – Euro Edition.”

Investigators with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and the Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted the investigation of Little. Attorneys with the Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section of the Criminal Division are prosecuting the case, with the assistance of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida.

Little is scheduled to be arraigned on July 12.

A call to Little’s attorney Jeffrey Douglas seeking comment was not immediately returned.

Chinese Crackdown Nets 13,000 Reports of Internet Adult

BEIJING — Chinese Police have received more than 13,000 reports about adult material on the Internet since a country-wide crackdown started on April 12, according to news site DailyIndia.com.

Of its estimated 1.3 billion population, China has roughly 123 million Internet users, most of whom are young people.

Reports about pornographic websites have increased from around 300 to nearly 700 every day, making up 31 percent of all reports received by police during this period, according to the Ministry of Public Security (MPS).

Wu Heping, spokesman of China’s MPS, had said recently that preliminary statistics show that nearly 80 percent of juvenile delinquents have been lured into crime by evil content on the Internet.

“In a high proportion of cheating, rape or robbery cases involving young people, the Internet is a factor,” Wu said.

Last week Chinese Police arrested a 21-year-old student for running five pornographic websites with 210,000 registered users. Police also announced that they had closed 1,450 porn websites and deleted more than 30,000 obscene messages online since the launch of the campaign.

The six-month campaign by the MPS and nine other government departments plans to crack down on illegal online activities such as distributing pornographic materials and organizing cyber strip shows, with a goal of purging the web of sexually-explicit images, stories, and audio and video clips.

The campaign also targets illegal online lotteries and contraband trade, fraud, and “content that spreads rumors and is of a slanderous nature.”

Nikki Benz Featured on KABC News

LOS ANGELES — Looking to kill time in horrendous L.A. traffic, adult star Nikki Benz decided to start vlogging. What turned out as a quick way to stifle boredom in bumper-to-bumper freeway traffic has garnered Benz mainstream press attention when she was featured in a segment on the KABC Nightly News about traffic vloggers.

The clip, which aired April 26 during the 5 p.m. news, depicts Benz behind the wheel on the Pacific Coast Highway in Pacific Palisades, Calif. commenting on her traffic woes while driving home from a photo shoot. Vlogging while driving is a new phenomenon in L.A.

Benz told XBIZ that KABC producers contacted her via her page on YouTube.com where she has 10 videos uploaded. Benz’ “channel” on YouTube.com has more than 20,000 views.

“I vlog a lot because traffic out here really sucks,” Benz said. “I’m pretty surprised that KABC put my clip on because I’m an adult star and I’m sure people recognized me. They wanted me to come to the studios for an in-person interview too.”

Benz views vlogging as another way to communicate with her fans. In addition to her YouTube page, the star maintains a very active MySpace.com profile.

“I wanted to create some sort of video diary of my daily life,” Benz said about her motivation to regularly vlog. “There are a ton of videos I have yet to upload and I love hearing from fans and reading their comments. Some of them didn’t even believe that traffic was that bad out here, but I have my vlog to document what L.A. drivers go through everyday. It was amazing that the news decided to use my clip.”

Benz said that she has been shooting steadily and has a slew of DVDs ready to be released. She is featured in Digital Playground’s upcoming “Jack’s Big Tit Show 4” and Zero Tolerance’s “The Wetter the Better” and “Meet the Fockers 6,” where she is paired with Gina Lynn.
