Business channel CNBC is airing a special tonight about the porn industry. It’s called “Porn: Business Of Pleasure” and it looks at the economics of the industry and how the recession has affected sales, production, etc.

I don’t know what the back story is to this, but on May 22, the following was posted to Jayna Oso’s blog:

Jayna has retired from the business and thanks the fans for the friendship, support and enthusiasm.

You will almost never hear me talk about the adult industry being depressing. In fact it’s so rare that this may be the first time I’ve ever written about it.

Cable news channel MSNBC has posted an article highlighting the women involved behind the cameras in the adult industry.
