Legendary stud Michael Stefano has announced his retirement after 12 years in the game and 3,000 performances under his belt. Stefano says the time is right for him to step aside now that he’s 41-years old and financially secure.
“I’m just grateful that I’ve been able to do it,” Stefano said. “I’m very happy that I can move on and say I lived 12 years that most dudes dream of and they will never achieve it in their life. I’m like one in a million. It’s like hitting the lottery. … I’m so amazed that I lived that life. Not only lived that life but able to not work any more because of it. So it’s like a double thing, like hitting the lottery two times.”
He credits his success and longevity in the industry to his personal discipline and avoiding drugs and other bad habits.
“Because of the way I am I did the right thing in the last 12 years with my finances and not getting into things like drugs. I don’t even smoke. I don’t drink, I don’t do anything. I just like sex. So thank God, I don’t have any habits or addictions or was foolish with my money,” Stefano said. “Maybe because of college it disciplined me to do the right thing. I don’t know if it’s a combination of many things, the way I was raised in a normal family. It was just a combo of everything throughout my life that enabled me to be smart.”

In my opinion Michael Stefano is one of the best male performers and directors the porn industry has ever had. People who think the guy doesn’t matter in a porn scene don’t know what they’re talking about. I don’t care to look at the guy, but the guy can make or break a scene. There are some scenes I won’t watch regardless of who the girl is because the guy is annoying or simply too nasty looking.
Michael Stefano makes every scene the best it can be. He’s always had an on-screen chemistry with the girls he fucks that is unlike anyone else I’ve seen with the exception of Manuel Ferrara.
Probably the best think about Stefano is his love for anal sex. The fact is that Michael has both performed in and directed some of the greatest anal movies of all time. Nearly everything he did for Platinum X is fucking legendary. He lensed the kind of hardcore anal that will be as good 10 years from now as it is today.
