I told you earlier this week about left-wing “gender studies” hypocrite professor Gail Dines and her new book attacking the porn industry. Well, Ms. Dines is at it again! This time she’s attacking the porn industry as racist.
I couldn’t disagree with her more. What Dines perceives as racism I see as simply not bowing to political correctness. I’ve praised the industry before as maybe the last bastion in our society where political correctness doesn’t rule the day.
You can use racially charged titles for movies and make racially tinged statements in porn movies and the audience sees it for what it is — entertainment.
The one issue Dines brings up that I cannot necessarily refute is on the issue of pay disparity between black and white performers. She claims Lexington Steele told her that black girls aren’t paid as much as white girls.
In a boy/girl scene, one girl one guy, no anal sex, the market dictates a minimum of $800 to $900 per scene for the girl. Now a white girl will start at $800 and go up from there, but a black girl will have to start at $500, and then hit a ceiling, of about $800.
I don’t know if that’s true, but I’ll take Steele at his word on that.
One issue Gail Dines points to as an example of racism is actually nothing more than good business. She says a lack of black talent in feature movies is proof of racism. Most black performers are relegated to gonzo movies and have few fan sites.
As a sociologist, I am interested in identifying and explaining patterns to help understand how systems of power shape the way the majority of people live. In porn, women of color are generally relegated to “gonzo,” a genre that has little glamor, security or chic status. Here, women have few fan-club websites, do not make it to pop culture and have to endure oral, anal and vaginal pounding that ends with the usual ejaculation scenes on the body and in the mouth.
Gail shows her ignorance of porn with that statement alone. If she looked through just this site she’d find literally hundreds of white girls taking dicks and jizz in every opening on their body. In fact, porn isn’t porn if bitches aren’t getting fucked in every hole. Their skin color is irrelevant. Secondly, porn stars have fan sites because they have fans. Girls who don’t have fan sites are not being discriminated against, they’re just shitty porn stars.
Porn producers make product that consumers want. If fans tomorrow said they were tired of white bitches and only want to see black girls from now on, then black girls is what they would get. It’s all about the money.
The reason you don’t see too many black girls in feature movies is because there are very few hot black girls in porn. I’m sorry but it’s true. In fact, the only black porn star I can think of who’s hot is retired and that’s Lacy Duvalle. You can find a million girls who look like Megan Fox in the porn industry, but you almost never find a girl who looks like Beyonce. That’s just the way it is — no racism involved.
As I said in my last piece about Gail Dines, she just doesn’t like pornography for moral reasons. Unfortunately, her rigid liberal dogma will not allow her to acknowledge morality so she has to invent lefty feminist arguments against it. She calls porn a racist “system of oppression.”
That’s a load of crap.
