Shelley Lubben runs the Pink Cross Foundation which is a non-profit that reaches out to porn stars and helps them leave the industry if they want to. Shelley is an ex-porn star herself who quit the industry to become an activist against it.
A lot of people talk trash about Shelley, but I respect what she’s doing. She’s actually helped quite a few girls who were strung out on drugs and doing porn who would’ve likely ended up dead if not for her and Pink Cross.
This clip if from a speech she gave to the AIDS Healthcare foundation which is seeking to make condom use mandatory in porn movies. I happen to vehemently disagree with mandatory condom usage, because condoms ruin porn and because this is a free country.
Instead of mandatory condoms, AIM Healthcare should require performers to be tested for STDs every 14 days or every 7 days instead of every 30.
