In recent weeks there’s been numerous puff piece articles written about former porn superstar Raylene’s epic return to porn.
Yes, she looks good. Yes, I was sad to see her go when she left. No, I’m not happy she’s back.
Raylene has been out of the game for more than 8 years. She’s been out of the game because she retired and became a real estate agent — a very successful real estate agent in Southern California.
She has a husband, kids, and probably a fucking dog. I remember reading about her success in real estate in various business magazines. She was wearing a power suit, using her real name (Stacy Hirsch), and didn’t even look like porn star Raylene.
Then the real estate market across the country took a swan dive. The economic crisis has destroyed the real estate market in wealthy areas like Florida and California.
One of the casualties of the crisis was Raylene. I don’t know why her husband can’t bring home the bacon, but whatever the case it’s because of the financial crisis that she’s returning to porn.
So excuse me if I’m not celebrating the fact that this mother is forced to go back to fucking to put food on the table for her family.
That said, I applaud her for doing whatever is necessary to support her family. Again, I’m not sure what kind of “man” she’s married to who can’t go out and provide for his family, but that’s another story entirely.
