Stories like this are what makes life so mysterious. Male performer James Deen (and Joanna Angel’s boyfriend) won Male Performer Of The Year at the AVN Awards last weekend. When his name was announced he was nowhere to be found. Joanna accepted the award on his behalf, and James sort of accepted it off stage. He told AVN he was thrilled to win the award but suffered a panic attack which prevented him from going on stage to accept.
“I can have sex in front of a room full of people, but I can’t get up on stage and say thank you,” Deen told AVN. “But I’m honored to accept the award. When I grow up, maybe I can do it. My goal for next year is to be able to go up there and just say those two words: Thank you.”
You just gotta love that. James can swing his dong around like a fucking baseball bat for all the world to see, but accepting an award with his clothes on scares the shit out of him. At any rate, congratulations to James Deen.
